Copenhagen Guitar Festival (Denmark) was created in 2013 by the classical guitarist and composer Peter Strömgren. It is a derivative of the International Guitar Festival Aarhus (Denmark), created by the same director in 2001.
The simple purpose of the festival is, like most decent music festivals, to create and present musical joy, and the vehicle is the classical guitar and related instruments.

Copenhagen Guitar Festival is as pure as they come, and aims to present musical quality above all. We present talent with a significant musical impact that will enchant the audience and make them think, feel and remember that life is indeed worth living.
